HABITAT LUNARIS
The Habitat Lunaris competition took place in Honduras and had the primary goal of lunar habitat design. Targeted at students, the competition challenged participants to create innovative and sustainable projects for life on the Moon. The conclusion of the event included the awarding of prizes to outstanding projects. Additionally, a special conference was held by Julian Ocampo, an architect currently working for the BIG firm and involved in the development of the first lunar project in collaboration with NASA. The conference provided valuable information on the advancements and challenges in the design and construction of lunar habitats, offering participants a unique perspective on the current and future reality of lunar exploration.
